Family Business of the Year Award
The 2000 Family Business of the Year Award was presented to Salvatore Calabrese and the Philadelphia Cervical Collar Company from a pool of over 1,000 nominees as the Regional Winner and was Nationally recognized in the Small Business Category.
Recognizing family businesses that have combined innovative business concepts with strong family leadership, the award is presented by The Wharton Family - Controlled Corporation Program, sponsored in part by Arthur Anderson, PNC Bank and the Philadelphia Business Journal.
U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Chip Enterprise Award
In 2000, the Mass Mutual Financial Group and the United States Chamber of Commerce awarded Salvatore Calabrese and the Philadelphia Cervical CollarCompany with the Blue Chip Enterprise Award. The Award recognizes small businesses that have overcome challenges, seized opportunities, creatively utilized resources and achieved success.
The accomplishment was announced in Fortune Small Business Magazine, as well as being featured in a book chronicling the personal and professional sagas of State winners.
